Kauai Surf Break
Jeff's brother Randy and his girlfriend Nikki just got here last night. Randy hasn't seen Eli since he was 5 months old so this was really fun for them to get to met again. Eli was of course very happy when more people arrived that wanted to play with him. He thinks we are having the longest sleepover party ever...and all just for him. Next week should be interesting.

Nikki and Silas

Eli took no time at all in getting Uncle to read his Richard Scary book.

This is Silas's first toy. Our good family friends the Gonzales gave Eli $5 to buy Silas a present. So with my help, this is what Eli picked. Silas really enjoyed his new blue horse. Though I think he might have wanted to eat him!

This new outfit was so cute.
Thanks Chad and Anna for picking out such a great little outfit for the little man to wear!

This is Silas at his first Chiropractic visit. Joella saw me throughout my pregnancy and was the best. She makes sure that your pelvic, hips and pubic bone are all in line so that the baby can be in the best position. I didn't know that the entire uterus is connected to all these bones. So having something a little off can pull on the uterus causing baby to be pulled also. She often relieved any lower back pain and hip pain that I had also. She was fabulous. I will have her for all my pregnancies! Since Silas wanted to always have his head back and was really gassy we thought we should have him checked. Don't worry she doesn't do any cracking, its very gentile. He was very willing to let her go about what she needed to do. Joella specializes in prenatal and infant Chiropractic care, so she really knows her stuff. No surprise to us then when his head was much more relaxed and his gas has been almost completely gone since the visit. I also took eggs and goat cheese out of my diet the week prior, so I think this also helped.

The other night we went over to our friends Jeremy and Rachelle to have dinner. They have a little girl just 5 weeks older then Silas. This is Elianna and Silas hanging out on the baby mat having a baby conversation. They really entertained each other.

Jaxson and Eli...they are both learning how to share...so it always interesting to see who will have the first meltdown...

Jess and Brenden came over for a visit to watch Silas while I did some cleaning. Brenden really wanted to hold the baby. I was so amazed at his interest in Silas, Eli has none, so it was sweet to see him so excited about the baby.

Brother Tub Time!!!

The Boys in Their Man Robes

This is one of the first few times that Eli has let me have him hold Silas. Once I bring up the idea he gives it a go...only for a few seconds though and then he's off.

Grammy and Papa are Here

This picture makes me think of one word...well two...
"TRAILER TRASH"
The only way it would be better is if Eli's tank top was white!

Eli mowing the lawn...Copying daddy!

Papa made crochets for Eli out of PVC and foam. Turned out to be a hit!

More fun coming soon!

These ones are us sitting together. Eli really wanted to sit with me so we just made some room. He was fine with holding Silas, until he started to cry. Then he wanted to get down. Can you see the difference in the color of the boys. Eli is white and Silas is brown! Funny...

Some cute boppy shots.

Silas is kinda gassy. We try to burp him as much as possible and I have taken lots of yummy foods out of my diet, but he still at times is pretty ticked off about the gas bubble that has invaded his little tummy. I think he is getting better this week then last. Last night he slept a whole 4 hours in a row. And so did I. Hee Hee. But for the last four weeks he has usually been up every 2 hours.
Silas is saying, "I HATE you gas...you stink."

Knowing that it was going to be a sunny warm weekend I filled up the pool Wednesday night so that it would warm by the next day. A trick my mom use to do. So of course even though it wasn't that warm Eli wanted in the "Bath" ASAP. At first he was pretty ticked that he had to wear swim trunks, but I explained to him that it was a pool, not a bath. He seemed to except the reasoning and moved on to the hose.

Dinner on the deck makes summer time official.
Thank YOU Ziezer family for a yummy meal A la' Carte.

So this is a sad yet funny moment in Eli's little world. A mean scary cloud was in the sky and he was very scared. This is him having daddy hold him with his hand pointing to the mean cloud. For a while we could figure out why he didn't want to go back outside. Or why he kept coming running in with kinda of a crying face. Then I went out with him and he pointed to th sky and kinda wrinkeled his face. Then we knew...

Mean Scary Cloud...

Brenden came over and played

Silas went to sleep on his side and when I went in to check on him he had turned to his side. I let him stay like this since he was so snuggly cozy. Plus we have a video monitor so I can see his chest rising and hear his breathing. But I thought, "what a strong little guy"

Bremerton Water Park with Friends

We then met up with Jeff's brother Tim at the ferry (he was in town because of a conference) and walked up to fritz's. There is a cool fountain that Eli played in after he was done with dinner. We had way too much fun for one day!

Eli was so wet that he couldn't even keep his pants up. It was hilarious.
