Yesterday the Mintlings came over and they took some photos of Silas for his 1 year shots. We also took a few quick family shots and of the belly. The kids were great and it was relatively painless for all. Thanks Josh and Kelli you do a great job, and the price is the best in town!!!
This is Jeff...the BEST daddy in the whole world. He loves our boys so much and is more of a dad then I could ever imagine for our boys. I am so grateful that Elijah and Silas have a man who loves Jesus as he does. And it is my prayer that they would love Jesus as their Daddy does. I will follow you where ever you go babe...I trust you will all our days and with all my heart...because I know you trust Jesus and will lead us in His Love!
Happy Fathers Day,
We love you!!!
Last week we went camping at Kalaloch with our good friends Tony and Angie and their two boys, Noah and Zach. Did you know that you are only allowed to stay there 7 days per year. I'm guessing cause it's right on the water, yet in the woods. The weather was great. Cool mornings with fog but then burning off and then having warm afternoons. Though when we left on Saturday it was raining on the way home. So we felt very blessed to ge the the sunshine while it lasted. The boys had a great time. Eli battled with his fear of the ocean and won. He went down to the beach and played, he even went close to the waves. Silas ate lots of sand the first day, but then with a bad diaper rash the next day I had to be a bit more strict with that and had to tell him no. He was very upset and looked at me and scoulled. How dare I not let him eat handfuls of sand...I know....tragic. What was tragic was his bottom!
Last weekend Halsey came over for the evening. These two are really becoming good buds and genuinlly love eachothers company. They played outside, then ate some chocoloate ice cream, topping the night off with Cars. H'y fell asleep though. Eli was confused and wanted him to wake up. But he was a log and didn't budge.
