I keep running into great story's like this, VBA3C Story and it makes me want to start a blog just for birth. For those I know that are discouraged this story really was inspirational...very teary. Enjoy!
Here's some shots of Silas, 14 months old. He is walking everywhere, it's so much fun. He's also trying so hard to say things. He knows and understands so much it's just amazing. If I ask him where the baby is he lifts up my shirt and points to the belly. And last night he was looking at a book that had a big real picture of blueberries. He stood up, walked over to me and pointed to the blueberries. Then made lots of noises while pointing. I said, "Silas, do you want some blueberries?" He then smile and started to jump up and down and get all excited. We brought him to his chair and Jeff gave him two big bowls. IPT is still going good. He goes on the potty throughout the day when we are home. I don't worry about it when were driving around or traveling. Just making it something we do at home as seem to be enough to give him comfort and confidence to go on the potty whenever I take him. I suspect that as he gets older and can communicate better (and pees get further apart) he will start to tell me more when he has to go. We still let him run around naked most of the day and still have to pick up potty accidents, but it's getting less and less. It's just encourageing to know that you don't have to be supre serious about it for it to work.
