Kauai Surf Break
And like that, he's 3...
I don't know when it happened...when he grew...when he became, a kid. Not a toddler, but a kid.  But it's happened.  He still say's "dup" for yes and we love that because it means it all hasn't gone away.  He's our Pie Pie.

We had Silas stay in his bedroom while I set up the room. He came out and Thomas had arrived.  He was very sure these last few weeks that he wanted a Thomas party.

 So that's what we did...

and I had gotten these from Jessie at Thanksmas so I decided to use them since they had construction vehicles on them. They where a hit also...

We really wanted it to be a special day for him.
Silas has that soft spoken gentle voice,  I mean on most days.  He's found this voice and uses it plenty, but over all he's gentle and careful.  He has the most money saved in his piggy bank thank anyone else and he takes good care of his things.  He enjoys playing Thomas trains on the floor for long long periods of time.  Now if you take his car or his train and he was playing with it, he might wack you up side the head and tell you that it is his car and to stop it.  BUT...really those are his worst moments and often, especially if his brothers are not over-talking him or destroying is tracks, he's the most even keeled of the family.
And I have to mention that he is very, very slow.  And if your not careful in the parking lot he will wander to someone elses car or walk straight off an embankment...he's just kind gets lost in the whole walking bit and has no idea what so ever what is going on around him.  And if you do try to rush him (meaning you take his hand and try to get him to walk faster) his legs will just turn into noodles and it will be even harder to get to the door.  So just walk slow and you'll get there just fine...

Moses...with bag on head and with Silas knew shoes.

Thomas stayed on the whole time in the background and after lunch and cake the boys jumped.

Accidental photo...but we got bubbles and Silas loves bubbles!
Happy Birthday Silas, we love you!

It's been too long.
So I keep watching and listening to Moses these past few weeks and know that I need to update the blog so that I don't forget. He's 19 months old.
Words:
Car
Peas "please"
poo poo
Elijah
Pie pie "Silas"
side "outside"
Shoe
No
Dup "yes"
Stop it
Balah (balloon)
Grampa
Dad
Mom
Nie Nie (Night Night)
Bee Bee (Blanket)

He loves to put clothing of any sort on his head and walk around the house.  He loves to put anyone's shoes on and have a coat on just to walk around the house.  He loves it when Jeff comes home.  He screams and runs.  The energy he has is contagious and we all are happier because of it.
He's very vocal when he feels ignored or a toy is taken away from him. He takes 1 good long nap after lunch and sleeps 12 hrs at night.  He LOVES his two blankies and still fake nurses when he's holding them.  And if I try to wash them he follows me screaming into the laundry room and rests his head on the window of the washer.  I love how he is such a big boy when all the boys play outside together.  He follows them around and rides or works on the car.  He is doing great with the potty.  During the day he wears underwear and if we leave the house or he's sleeping I put on a diaper.  He's starting to come to me when he has to potty and he just kind of lingers for a bit...then I know that he's trying to tell me something.  And if I tell him to go potty he will run to the bathroom and stand on the stool. He's my snuggler, more than any of the boys.  He loves to be held when he wakes up and want's both blankies with him to be in hand so that he can rub them.  He's the best eater ever and will devour anything you put in front of him.  He loves his brothers and watches them with hope that he will be involved in all that happens.
He's a joy in our family.  A reminder of love.
We love our little Mo mo.
