Kauai Surf Break
These ones are us sitting together. Eli really wanted to sit with me so we just made some room. He was fine with holding Silas, until he started to cry. Then he wanted to get down. Can you see the difference in the color of the boys. Eli is white and Silas is brown! Funny...

Some cute boppy shots.

Silas is kinda gassy. We try to burp him as much as possible and I have taken lots of yummy foods out of my diet, but he still at times is pretty ticked off about the gas bubble that has invaded his little tummy. I think he is getting better this week then last. Last night he slept a whole 4 hours in a row. And so did I. Hee Hee. But for the last four weeks he has usually been up every 2 hours.
Silas is saying, "I HATE you gas...you stink."

Knowing that it was going to be a sunny warm weekend I filled up the pool Wednesday night so that it would warm by the next day. A trick my mom use to do. So of course even though it wasn't that warm Eli wanted in the "Bath" ASAP. At first he was pretty ticked that he had to wear swim trunks, but I explained to him that it was a pool, not a bath. He seemed to except the reasoning and moved on to the hose.

Dinner on the deck makes summer time official.
Thank YOU Ziezer family for a yummy meal A la' Carte.

So this is a sad yet funny moment in Eli's little world. A mean scary cloud was in the sky and he was very scared. This is him having daddy hold him with his hand pointing to the mean cloud. For a while we could figure out why he didn't want to go back outside. Or why he kept coming running in with kinda of a crying face. Then I went out with him and he pointed to th sky and kinda wrinkeled his face. Then we knew...

Mean Scary Cloud...

Brenden came over and played

Silas went to sleep on his side and when I went in to check on him he had turned to his side. I let him stay like this since he was so snuggly cozy. Plus we have a video monitor so I can see his chest rising and hear his breathing. But I thought, "what a strong little guy"

Bremerton Water Park with Friends

We then met up with Jeff's brother Tim at the ferry (he was in town because of a conference) and walked up to fritz's. There is a cool fountain that Eli played in after he was done with dinner. We had way too much fun for one day!

Eli was so wet that he couldn't even keep his pants up. It was hilarious.

Some of you have seen Raffy and Doggy. Both are very special. Raffy is from Jeff's mom and Doggy is from mine. I think its sweet that Eli loves them both so much and each came from a Grammy.
Here's a video of Eli in the morning with Jeff. I was still in bed with Silas....what a great hubby I have huh!!!

Well the little guys has made it to 8 lbs. On Monday we had him see Dr.Mattern for his pre-circ visit and he has gain 15 oz in the last week. What a guy! Silas is just such a great little baby. He loves to sleep on the bobby amidst all the noise of everyday life. I vacuumed the last few days right under him and he did even move a muscle. Eli's screaming is only getting louder and yet that too doesn't seem to bother him either. I think when life in the womb is loud, when you get out your much more able to cope with the noise. So here are some pictures of what we have been up to for the last few weeks. It was so nice to have Jeff home for so long. I enjoyed every second of it. It was just so wonderful to have so much time to adjust as a family and enjoy Silas coming into the world. We mostly just hung around the house, took turns playing with Eli and holding Silas. We took lots of naps and had really yummy food brought to us. It was the best ever. I can't wait to have the next! Jeff just went back to work yesterday and things have been going really well. I'm learning how manage two and take care of things around the house. I think it will be a slow process but what has been easier is knowing what to expect.

So here are a few pictures over the last few weeks!

Remember these diapers I got a while ago...they really do fit the little guys too!

Jeff had some time to get going on the wood for next year
while Eli and Silas and I played in the yard.

I think our first outing was church when he was just 3 days old. Then we went to Fredmeyer to get some much needed groceries.

This is Eli getting caught. He was suppose to be sleeping but really he was reading his bible. How do you get mad at your 20 month old for reading his Bible...all on his own! We put the books away and told him to stay in bed and that we would ready is bubby (bible) tomorrow.

Committed thumb sucker!

My friend Karla came to visit. She was so sweet and brought Eli a new toy also. Eli was so happy that Logan came over to play. Though Eli had a really hard time sharing his new truck.
Thanks for coming over Karla!!

Playing with the bugs that the Mardocks sent.
Last Friday we took a walk down to the water. The tide was out really far so so we got to play with the shells and rocks.

Silas finding his cozy spot with Jeff!

Silas working on his tan...no really he does need the sunlight.
He's a bit jaundice, but its almost gone.

Uncle Tim and Aunt Jessie came for the weekend!

So we had to go to Red Rob BOB for some food. Jessie's Favorite!
The new Blueberry Pomagranite drink is alittle sweet but yummy to say the least!

First tub together as brothers

Eli making a scary face

Look how handsome my 3 boys are...
