The Moley Mole 7.5 Months

by - 9:19 PM

This is what my house looks like MOST morning by say 10am...they love to pull out all their toys and take over. I'm not so keen on this plan and currently, as I am typing, am in the process of helping this be better. Last month we took our house off the market and decided not to sell. Instead we are going to do some remodeling and see if we can make the space work. The plan right now is to remodel the laundry room with lots of cupboards, a sink, and a place for the computer. And to finish off the attic. The attic will be a play room and will have all their toys. Hopefully those two things will be finished by this fall so that living inside with 3 boys will be a bit more bearable when the weather turns back to cold and rain.

Mo is very "Mo"bile...as you can see there is really nothing that he can't do right now. Pretty amazing for a 7 month old.

The scary thing is that he has no concept of what is dangerous and really has no fear. I don't remember Eli and Silas being quite so adventurous.

Standing for the first time in his pack N play. 7 Months old!

Making Baby Food
I really enjoy this. The whole process from start to finish gives me a warm sense of accomplishment. He LOVES this and is a great eater. I puree and freeze this into 1/4 cup patty's and then put them into one big plastic bag. This bowl will make enough to last me about a week!

He tries so hard to watch the brothers when they are out side.

Love all these cute faces!

Last month tooth #1 came through and just over this weekend, while I was in AZ the other one popped through also. He's seems to not mind them while they are coming in and hasn't even really woken up at night. Right now he's sleeping 10 hours, nursing, then back down for the last 1.5 -2 hours. What a good little boy!

Eating with the brothers! Eli made an "E" sandwich with Grammy this weekend.

Mo with Grammy. Faith and Richard came for this last week and watched the boys while Jeff and I went to AZ for a leadership conference called Truefaced. I pumped 106 ounces and Mo stayed with Grammy. He did so good, I was so proud of Him. Faith and Richard gave us the most amazing gift ever, 4 days of kid free uninterrupted time! Thank you!!!!

Drank his first bottle last month! This was so important because it meant that we would be able to leave him with Grammy when Jeff and I went to Arizona. He would only take it if I left him alone on the floor.

  1. The mess doesn't look so bad :) My house gets the same way. I try to have clean-up time before naps and before bedtime and that seems to keep it more manageable.

Love the pics of baby Mo, what a cutie!

  2. yeah, that mess is nothing. But I do realize having the mess in THE room of the house probably makes it a little more frustrating.

Um, so this doesn't look like baby led weening...? By that, I'm remarking upon the pureed food, not the bottle. :) Have you changed your mind?
