Kauai Surf Break
My kid are bottomless pits...they will for sure eat us out of house and home.
The laundry smelled like pee.
Eli has pee bed and I don't want to change sheets this week again...for the 3rd time, so for now they will stay and when Jeff comes home from church I will have him take them off.
Eli lied 2 times this morning, once about going pee in the yard, saying he did when I asked him and then telling me later he was just joking about that and didn't really go, but now has to go. And then lying about stepping on Mo's hand and blaming it on Silas.
Silas peed his pants yesterday right as we were leaving for a walk and I thought that my head was going to pop off.
My bedroom kinda reminds me of goodwill right now...
Oh and I really should not buy a bag of dark chocolate chips because I will give myself permission to eat the bag and tell myself that the antioxidants are really helping.

And that's the truth of today...

Jeff and Eli left for Spokane yesterday morning and will be back tomorrow. They took my brother to an organic farm that he will be working at for the next few weeks then he's taking a bus to Portland to go camping. Matt decided to take a bus back to NH after all that was over. I told him that he will surly starve to death or catch a bus disease. He's doing it anyway. He said today in a text that he was "meant for it".
It will take him 3.5 days...

Having the two oldest boys out of town has been so great. Silas has gotten to play with cars all day long for 2 days straight, uninterrupted. He's so much more verbal when Eli is gone. It's been nice to have conversations with him. Tonight he refused to eat his fish, even though I took him to Wendy's and promised him a Frosty if he ate his dinner when we got to Abby's for Community group. No success...
Moses played hard...and took over the wooden toys that have snaps on them. He chewed them and banged them on things and crawled around with his peg leg and held his snap block tightly. It was red and long and had a snap on the end of it. He was so happy.
Community group was the place to be tonight. It happened with lots of conversation and love.

THEN...when i got home I swept the attic and vacuumed all the rafters and floors. It's so clean and ready. I also moved a massive amount of our stuff from one place to another. I found a box that had a bunch of notes that I had written Jeff from when we were dating and during our first few years of marriage. 2 things....1. It was kinda sad to find them because I realized that I haven't written him notes like that in a long time and 2. I was glad to be remided of all the things that I absolutely love about him. As if I had forgotten. After reading them I said to myself "Wow I really do love this guy...and he's really great." I often have coversations in my head that are strange. This one was one of them.
I think tomorrow I will write him a letter.

Well Eli had his first "Good" day of pool school. He did the kicking on the stairs, both sitting and on his belly, put his head under water (voluntarily) and jumped in 3 times. Michelle and I attribute it to the fact that he and Adrian ran around the foyer for 10 minutes before lessons started. They got into a good happy mood and it followed them right into class. We will try to repeat the whole thing on Tuesday...who knows. Oh and of course it helped that I promised him a piece of chocolate and a raw marshmallow.

Silas is speaking in 2-4 word sentences. He is saying.."Mama push swing", "My turn", "Go outside", "My shoes", "Bopa (grampa) home bye bye", and my favorite "Ohhhh Poo Poo" (in a low voice). He's really asserting himself also. Tonight after community group we went upstairs to get him and he didn't want to leave cuz Cars was on and instead of screaming or having a tantrum he just laid down on the ground and acted like he was dead. Like a political sit-in.
He will pee for me all day long with underwear but will not tell me when he has to go. But now he's coming and telling me gone "pee pee" or in a deep voice saying "Ohhhh POO POO" He's also getting his 2 year molars. And with that he's chewing on our new kitchen table. But that's ok...it's a big dark table that will be loved well. Today he stuffed a whole piece of pear and a whole cheese stick in his mouth. Of course that's too much food for a 2 year old so he choked. He stared to choke and gag and turn redish purple. I tipped him upside down and banged on his back...nothing. Still gagging I called 911 and talked with a nice lady. He was screaming and crying so I thought it must be up, but then he would gag again and turn red. I told them that I would call back in a minute if he was still gagging. He was, so I did. They came right before a piece of pear projected out of his mouth and I caught it in mid air. He stopped screaming and was pale. They checked him over and made sure that his breathing was normal. It was. Fewwww...it was over!

Moses has a viral thing right now and had a fever from Monday till this morning. And a red rash all over his head and neck. He's standing on his own and cruising on all the furniture. I can see him walking in a month or so. He's still nursing a lot and bit me for the first time today. His uppers are coming in and I think that he just can't help himself. He also does this half crawl thing all over the house. Like he's a pirate with a peg leg. Sleeping through the night and waking up once. My easiest baby by far!

They all play together well...Sometimes Moses is stealing toys and Silas and Eli hate this. They push him over and he cry's. They don't quite feel bad but know that a price will need to be paid so they quickly kiss him and pat his head and say they are sorry. He's desperate for love and crawls to me feeling completely betrayed. Eli and Silas have started cat fighting and swatting at each other. Jeff and I should stop it but we can't help but laugh and let them go at it with each other for a few seconds. It's so funny I almost pee my pants. Silas will try to put Eli in a full on head lock. Eli doesn't know what to do with that so he will just swat him right in the head as hard as he can. I know it's wrong, but seriously it's the funniest thing I have ever seen.

That's all I got....
