Pumpkins and Halloween
You know the last few days have felt really normal. Like a nice steady drum...thump, thumping along. A little skip in my step and a little "the world is all mine, I got!". All the wrinkles in my pants worked themselves out and I was left with...a break. Maybe a break from myself and my fast train. I feel the word fuel coming...ooops there it came. Yeah like a little charge from within. And I'll take the days that have some charge in them cuz their a little scarce and somewhere lost between normal and right now. But we're figuring it out. We're working it out. "Don't do it"...I say to Eli..."It won't work"..."Don't do it on your own. RUN...RUN to Jesus. You'll have to ask Him for help. He's your Rescuer, everyday, He's there." And I'm starting to believe it more. Each day I say it and it's more real.
Wonderful Grace...kinda makes me wanna dance.
I really like the view from up hear! It's oh so sweet and it's all mine!
Do it little boy...It's all yours!
Torro Loco it was. And he wore it well.
And Mo was a Dino.
Really this isn't too far off from what could have happened. Minus the cute miracles of life that surround me of course. And I like to dress up like this ever so often to remind myself that deep within it's in me to go there. It wouldn't take much and if Jeff was on board it would be too easy. And maybe someday when your lost on some country road you'll find us on an old chevy bench seat that we pulled out of an old truck and placed at the end of our driveway wavin' strong. Just chillin...
And this sweet boy won't change his clothes for anyone. So he wore his favorite baseball shirt and called it good. And sometimes he wears the same clothes for a few days and that's ok.
And on Halloween "you can do anything you wanna do". It's like the best...and with suckers ta boot'. We'll see you next year...

Good to know that: you can give kids knives, and make a costume from predominantly staples. J/K - Love ya!
